Medicine, whose purpose should be to save lives, was also used at Auschwitz as an instrument of violence and experimentation on prisoners. SS doctors participated in selections, medical experiments, sterilizations, and other forms of pseudomedical research. This tour explores how medicine and the authority of the physician were subordinated to racial ideology and how the boundaries of medical ethics were completely crossed.
